Manage Application and Admission Processes: To conduct the application, evaluation, admission, and enrollment processes for associate, undergraduate, and graduate international students in a transparent, fair, and orderly manner, in accordance with relevant regulations and procedural guidelines. Conduct Quota and Admission Criteria Planning: To review and regulate quota proposals for international students submitted by academic units, along with application requirements and evaluation criteria, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation. Review and Evaluate Applications: To assess online applications by evaluating candidates based on TR-YÖS, international and national examination scores, high school GPA, and minimum threshold requirements, and to carry out applicant evaluations accordingly. Execute Placement Procedures: To place candidates into programs in accordance with their preference rankings and academic merit scores. Manage Quota Allocation: To identify unfilled quotas following the enrollment period and prepare lists for additional placement processes. Verify Document Authenticity and Compliance: To examine the accuracy and compliance of international documents submitted or uploaded during application and enrollment processes—including translations, notarizations, and high school equivalency certificates—ensuring adherence to institutional guidelines, and to invalidate incorrect applications when necessary. Monitor Turkish Proficiency and Integration Processes: To track the Turkish language proficiency levels required for admitted students to commence their studies, in coordination with the Turkish Language Center (TÖMER), and to manage enrollment eligibility based on language requirements and exemption criteria. |
