The legal registration and accommodation processes for international students who will pursue higher education in Türkiye consist of two main stages: the Student Entry Visa and the Student Residence Permit.

Candidates who are eligible for visa-free entry to Türkiye or who already hold a valid residence permit will have their visa exemption status evaluated in accordance with current regulations.
After entering Türkiye and completing their final registration at the University, students must apply for a Residence Permit before the expiration of their visa or visa-free stay period.
► Application Channel:
Applications must be submitted online through the official “e-Residence (e-İkamet)” system of the Directorate General of Migration Management.
► Coordination Office Support:
Students can obtain the required “Student Certificate”, to be submitted to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management on the appointment day, from our Coordination Office or via the student automation system.
► Monitoring of Duration:
It is the sole responsibility of the student to track the validity period of their residence permit and to submit extension (renewal) applications on time.
Students who fail to apply for a residence permit or do not renew it after its expiration will lose their legal status and may face legal penalties. It is therefore essential to regularly follow the announcements made by our Coordination Office.
